This is what you’re really getting
Impressive main building with a unique charm, offering spacious rooms and an inviting atmosphere. While the food was adequate, it lacked variety and freshness, with many menu items unavailable during our stay. The location is perfect for relaxation yet a bit removed from town, requiring transport for dining options.

quirky, quirky, quirky
I had such an amazing time in the Presidential Suite with its unique, charming design and high ceilings! The peaceful garden filled with iguanas and butterflies made our stay even more delightful. We also enjoyed the inviting pool area, which was perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring.

The traditional bread at breakfast was a savory masterpiece, paired with rich local flavors that made every bite a journey. The peaceful ambiance offered a retreat from the bustling world outside, while the beautiful decor added a lovely touch of culture to the experience.
To be fair, we arrived very tired after a long drive and were shocked at the room—it felt more like a concrete garage. With only a flimsy curtain separating the toilet from the bedroom and a chilly atmosphere, it lacked the cozy feel one hopes for, making it tough to settle in comfortably.

charming architecture, beautiful grounds, spacious rooms
Facilities need better maintenance!!! The pool looked murky and uninviting, while the outdated drinks menu could use a serious overhaul!!! It's puzzling how a place can be so quiet yet feel so empty and lifeless.

The Master Suite was spacious with a stunning cathedral high ceiling and a giant bathroom. It felt quirky, which added to the charm. However, it did feel a bit tired and lacked some amenities that would have made it more comfortable. A nice relaxing vibe, but the overall upkeep could use some love. It’s a unique stay, but not super luxurious.

It was just a balanced option for a brief stop-in near Izamal with excellent value for money. The spacious rooms added a nice touch of comfort, even though extras were missing. Try to negotiate for a better price if you can.

Hacienda Sacnicte is a charming place with a beautiful and peaceful garden area filled with iguanas and butterflies. The Master Suite had a stylish cathedral high ceiling and a lovely giant bathroom. Enjoyed a relaxing vibe by the pool area, which was tastefully renovated while preserving the original hacienda charm.
The mattresses were a teeny bit softer than we like.

A Relaxing Rural Escape with Unique Charm
During our one-night stay, we truly enjoyed the peaceful ambiance and the gorgeous architecture surrounded by beautiful gardens filled with butterflies. The spacious Master Suite offered impressive high ceilings that added to the charm, and the pool area was a great spot to unwind after exploring nearby Izamal. However, the breakfast could use some improvement in taste and variety to match the overall lovely vibe of the property.
